All international students studying in Israel have various housing options to make their stay in the country more pleasing and more comfortable. After being accepted to our university, students will receive comprehensive information and guide via email to assist them in registering for a convenient on-campus accommodation.
On Campus Housing
We provide international students housing in various dormitories that were all conveniently situated a few meters away from the campus. Our dormitories are divided into several studio apartments for singles or 2 bedrooms that are shared by two students. Every suite offers great amenities, which includes a bathroom and kitchenette. Our long-term international students who stayed one semester or year and longer are also housed in our recently renovated dormitories. Every room features a new bathroom and kitchen, wireless internet connection and air conditioning. Those international graduate students who want to stay in a single room are actually housed in studio apartments.
We make sure that you experience a comfortable stay as you study and further your education for your future that is why we are pleased to offer convenient dormitories to give you a more relaxing environment. To maintain the condition of the dormitories, each of them is inspected thoroughly. Any property damage will be the student’s responsibility. There is a self-service Laundromat and additional cleaning and laundry facilities are also available. It is also important to note that household goods and kitchen utensils are not supplied by the university. All dormitories are non-smoking areas and must always be cleaned for a more pleasing living environment.
Dormitories include only a closet, desk and a bed. All students must bring their own kitchenware and bedding. They also need to plan preparing for their own foods because meals aren’t included. The electricity fees are also determined according to the student’s average consumption. If you consume more than the determined average, a request to pay the difference will be given. Although international students are not really required to live in a dormitory in campus, it’s highly encouraged.
Students who do not want to live or stay in dormitories can opt for the off-campus housing option. Some international students in Israel choose to live either in the city center of outside of the city. Those who want to live in apartments off campus can explore the place and can obtain a pleasing Israeli experience. You can save more when you share a standard apartment with a roommate.
These are two of the most common options international students have during their stay in Israel to study. Whether you opt to stay in a dormitory or in an apartment, make sure to stay in a place with a pleasing atmosphere and relaxing environment conducive to learning.
