Internships Available at the University of Haifa International School
The University of Haifa International School gives all its students the chance of integrating career-related internships and combining these with their studies during their stay in the campus. Extra efforts are being given for those students who specifically ask for internships in relation to their study majors and chosen career paths, with every placement taking into consideration the student’s particular academic and professional interests.
The University’s internship program is being coordinated by one faculty member of the school, working hand in hand with the supervisors on the site. Only those students enrolled full time are given the eligibility to be a part of the Internship Program.
Due to the growing interest of the students to take part internships, the school has decided to expand their offerings and they are even encouraging them to ask about the available opportunities which might not be included in the list.
The opportunities for internship encompass health services, social services, communications, business opportunities, education, marketing and even working with several of the high tech companies in Israel.
Those who want to take part in the program are required to apply before the start of the semester. Aside from their admission application, the students must also complete a supplemental application for this internship program. After being admitted to the school and receiving the application for the internship program, the Internship Coordinator will stay in touch with the student to let him or her know about the possible locations for internship.

Students are welcomed to keep in touch with the University’s Internship Coordination regarding the possible location or field for their internship and they will be the one to be in charge of looking for the most appropriate option for all applicants.
Interns are expected to report to work for 10 to 15 hours every week that will make them earn 3 to 4 credits. During the entire course of the semester, they may be given with some reading materials that they can use for supporting their work. Also, they will be required to submit internship reports every week as well as mid-semester reflections regarding their progress to the school’s Internship Coordinator. When the semester ends, students will have to submit a research paper of 10 to 15 pages that will address an issue that they encountered during their internship.
